Like we've done the past couple years, we headed over to the historic Peterson Dumensil House in our neighborhood for the annual visit from Santa.
My parents met us there and Drew and Grandpop watched some live music (they had a small orchestra, really, playing Christmas carols…so beautiful!)

And here we have the classic 1 year old reaction to Santa Clause:) I hope she forgives me for pausing long enough to take a photo!
Andrew declared that he would not sit on Santa's lap but did stand next to him and tell him what he wanted for Christmas: 1) A semi-truck 2)A bucket truck and 3) a guitar
Santa was nice to put up with us!
After we got home both Drew and Harper sat right down in front of the tree. Harper is so cute and gets excited every morning for me to plug in the lights. She squeals and claps her hands and jumps around once the tree lights up. One thing is for sure…Christmas is so much fun with kids!
